A New Name

Hubs and I had a lovely holiday last week with our Sweetest Pea and her family at Lake Wateree.  The house we rented was perfect.....lots of sliding glass doors, windows and skylights!  The kids had their own loft to sleep in :)

It was warm enough for the kiddos to swim and tube and Caitlin to try and catch minnows with her net.  The kids, hubs and Marty fished and caught at least a dozen.  One GIANT catfish for Connor.

All of us kayaked (except Hubs) and that was a first for me....very easy alone and with Sweetest Pea!

I read four books....two I brought with and two in the owners' stash.  One of those was, On Folly Beach by Karen White.  It weaves the story of Folly during World War II when German U Boats were scouring the coast to sink oil ships headed from the USA to our airplanes and boats overseas.  There is an interesting modern day component as well.

Now I've got to get the five or so pounds off I put on.......grrrr...but it sure was fun while it lasted.
At this season of new birth and new beginings
how about a new name?

In Revelation 2:17 it says God will give us a new name on a white stone which will represent what God had in
mind when he created us................what do you think yours might be?
