Those Were the Days

I was looking through my boxes of pictures a few weeks ago and pulled some out to blog about. These are the ones I haven't gotten to.....

Above is oldest Grandgirl Hannah. I have no clue how old she was when we did this but she is so much more grown. I love looking at her little girl self (and her big girl self, too).
From left to right are Joey Ham, Candy Ham and Candied Yam (LOL!) really it is my daughter Gabby. Joey and Candy were two of the three siblings who were our Foster Children for a year. They are at the skating rink. It's had to believe my Gabby was once this little tyke.

From left to right starting with Me, Gabby, and our good friend Marcia Hawkins. I don't know where Nena and Alice were when this picture was taken but we"girls" had gone to the mountains for a weekend. Here we are gem mining. Gabby read her first word on this trip "A-N-T-I-Q-U-E-S!

This is Gabby's college roommate, Karen West Driggers and her good, good friend Mary Bailey.

This is Gabby "Beeing" her father to the delight of childhood best friend Becky. Hubs goes to pieces if you start off saying, "Once a bee came out of the hive and buzz, buzz (picture hand swirling around in the air like a bee and landing on him to tickle him.) Then of course, two bees come out of the hive...by ten the man is a blathering idiot.

This is Gabby's son Coggy making Christmas cookie. He is concentrating big time on decorating.

This was before we started...the flour on his face (that you can't see) is so cute. He will be 10 next month and is now, gasp, playing football.
As they say in the funnies....."that's all Folks"!

Going through old photos is so much fun!

Karen looks so stylin' in her mini-dress. I wonder what the occasion was? I knew that was me in the corner of the picture b/c I recognized my GIANT glasses!

Coggy was adorable as a little baker. Those pics would make some sweet scrapbook pages.
